Having spent my 'first' career (3+ decades) based in West Africa (working with local governments through an international non-profit) on language community development to empower people groups as they document and develop their mother tongue) , I applaud the emerging domain of 'social entrepreneurship' and that American students at MIDD and elsewhere are engaging at this early stage of their careers with this concept. The more 'social' entrepreneurs this world has who are actively, sustainably working through grass-roots social entrepreneur-ships for the better of local communities, the better place this world will be!
