In the mid 1980’s my 3 school children and I lived in Vienna, Austria which is adjacent to the province, Burgenland. They were required to have a series of 3 inoculations in order to attend school outings. We all where inoculated and have lived since then in MA, NY, CA, OR and Alberta, Canada. None of us has, luckily had a tick incident. Why is there no such inoculation available in the USA? Or are we really that lucky? We are all hiking, gardening etc.
