Library named for Jim Davis '66 and his family

At a ceremony on May 6, President Ron Liebowitz announced to members of the Middlebury community that the main library, unnamed since its completion in 2004, would now be called the Davis Family Library, in honor of Jim Davis '66; his wife, Anne; their son, Chris '08; and their daughter, Kassia.

Men's tennis wins NCAA championship

Middlebury won its second NCAA Division III men's tennis championship with a 5-1 victory over Amherst at Oberlin College in Ohio. The Panthers end their season with a school-record 23 wins against just two losses.

Middlebury selected for Solar Decathlon 2011

The U.S. Department of Energy announced on April 15 that Middlebury College has been selected to participate in Solar Decathlon 2011, in which 20 teams of college and university students will compete to design, build and operate the most affordable, attractive and energy-efficient solar-powered house.

Four faculty members earn Fulbright awards
