Assistant Director, Budget(On leave)
Sue Lalumiere joined the Budget Office in July 2007. She provides budgetary support and analysis for Bread Loaf School of English, Language Schools, Schools Abroad, all Auxiliary Enterprises, Dining and Facilities Services, and the Annual Renewal and Replacement projects. Her responsibilities include working collaboratively with all facets of the budget process, including budget preparations, monitoring, reporting, and cost analysis. Previously, Sue was an Accountant for Feed Commodities International Inc. and for the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Champlain College in 1993, Sue and her husband Brian moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where Brian was stationed in the Air Force. After two years living in the Black Hills the Lalumieres, both native Vermonters, moved back to Vermont to be close to family. In 2001 they built their dream house on Round Barn Road in Ferrisburgh, where they currently live with their three children. Professional growth led Sue to return to college part time and she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Champlain College in 2004. In her free time Sue enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, reading, and gardening.
