Learning and Development Opportunities for Staff and Faculty

We embrace Middlebury College's commitment to "knowledge without boundaries" by fostering learning and development opportunities for all members of our community. Since each member is vital to the success of Middlebury College, our focus is to provide outstanding programs and support for improving individual, group and organizational effectiveness. Here are some of the opportunities that we offer:

go/learning - a series of on-campus workshops that are available to all staff and faculty members

go/managers - a series of on-campus workshops that support the needs of managers and supervisors and are open to all staff and faculty members

Enhancing Job Performance - The staff development fund is available to offset departmental costs to support a variety of work-related development activities. These may include: participation in short courses, workshops, and training programs, as well as opportunities for staff members to prepare training programs and workshops for other employees on campus.

Continuing Education Classes - eligible  staff members can receive support via the Continuing Education Fund to enroll in credit-bearing classes at another accredited program or institution

Middlebury College classes - eligible faculty and staff members and their spouses or partners are eligible to audit or enroll in classes at Middlebury
