COVID-19: Essential Information

Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)

The College's Employee and Family Assistance Plan provides confidential counseling and referral services to reduce stress and improve the quality of life for employees.  The EFAP provides confidential assessment and referral services, and short-term counseling to help you and your household members work through life's challenges.

The services of the EFAP are free to all employees, dependent children, family members residing in the employee’s household, and other household members.  For example, employees and their family & household members are each entitled to 6 free counseling visits per year per problem.

All assistance is confidential - no one at Middlebury College will know that you used the EFAP.

Experienced counselors are available to assist with:

- finding child- or elder-care
- becoming a parent
