COVID-19: Essential Information

Fall 2021 Student Employee Early Arrival

Student Employees who need to return to campus prior to the Fall semester, for employment purposes, may do so no earlier than Thursday, August 26, 2021.  Student may move into their campus accomodations no more than 24 hours before their employment start date.

Approval for early return will be provided to Res Life by SEO and will require a hiring proposal be submitted for Academic Year 21'22 with a start date between 08/26 and 09/12.

Hiring Proposals for positions requesting Early Return must be submitted by Monday, August 1st.  This will allow SEO and Res Life to coordinate details required for housing access.

1. Post Your Position

You must post your summer position on PeopleAdmin.  You can post your position at anytime.  We have a walkthrough video as well as typed instructions found here.   It is important that you be sure to correctly label the position as “Academic” in the drop down below.


2. Submit a Hiring Proposal

Due August 1st.

Once you have identified your summer employee you must submit a Hiring Proposal to SEO.  We have a walkthrough video as well as typed instructions found here.   Please be sure to complete the required fields accurately, including the drop down menu that allows you to indicate whether a student will be working on campus or remotely.  This drop down value will impact if your position is considered an early return request. Positions indicated as remote will not be considered as an early return request.
