Need Software Installed?

Some of the software used and supported on campus is also available for installation on your own computer.

Staff and Faculty

Staff and Faculty are able to have software installed on their college-issued computers.  What can be installed depends on the machine type and operating system.  To request a software install, email us at helpdesk@middlebury.edu with the computer's Midd number and operating system, the software being requested, and if another version of the software already exists on the computer.

What is in the shed?

The college has a software repository which currently lives on the Shed server.  You can take a look at what is available by mapping a drive to \\shed\software\
