Pearsons Hall

Sophomore Residence Hall

Cook Commons

Pearsons is a residence hall for sophomores in Cook Commons. It’s home to a popular lounge, as well as the Kade Room, a smart classroom that doubles as a reading and resource room for students of German.  Named for benefactor D.K. Pearsons, it was the first major dormitory built on the 35 acres Col. Joseph Battell '60 gave for a women's campus. Pearsons Hall was the home of the first summer Language School—German—in 1915.

Pearsons sits on top of the hill looking down onto the beautiful quad known as Battell Beach.  It is centrally located, very close to both Proctor and Ross Dining Hall.  The closest parking lots are either Ridgeline or E Lot.
