The NESCAC Votes Summit is a two-day event hosted by Middlebury College in collaboration with NESCAC partner institutions and the All In Democracy Challenge.

NESCAC Votes Summit will gather students, staff, and faculty members in order to collaborate, learn, and develop strategies to increase campus voter turnout for the upcoming national elections. See a draft summit schedule here.


The registration fee is $250 per individual. The registration fee covers lodging in the Bread Loaf Inn and four meals (lunch 10/25, dinner 10/25, breakfast 10/26, lunch 10/26, and snack breaks). You will receive bedding and towels for your stay.

Our preferred registration deadline for planning purposes is September 13, final registration deadline is October 11.


Travel and Campus Info

Bread Loaf campus is in the small town of Ripton in the heart of Central Vermont.

Arriving by car: See this map. If using GPS or maps, the address is 4229 Route 125, Ripton, VT 05766. You might also input Rikert Ski Center, Ripton VT. 

Arriving by air: Bread Loaf is a 70-minute drive from the Burlington Airport (BTV). Public ground transportation is limited between Bread Loaf and BTV, so renting a car is a convenient option for those wishing for flexible ground transit. More information will also be provided in the registration confirmation and future correspondence with participants.
