Housing in Cook

Battell Hall

Battell Hall is a first year residence hall.  It is unique in that the space is split between two Commons, Cook and Wonnacott.  Battell houses 225 first years and 105 of them are affiliated with Cook.  Most of the rooms are doubles, and each hall is comprised of 35 students living with two First Year Counselors.  There are kitchens and lounges throughout the building for students to use.  Check out the Battell Floor plans.

 
 
Prescott

 

Prescott Hall is a first year residence hall. It is unique in that there is a large gathering space for commons events and a classroom, where some of the Cook Commons seminars will hold their classes. Prescott houses 28 first years, along with two First Year Counselors, in a combination of singles and doubles.Check out the Prescott Floor plans
 
Pearsons  Hall

 

Pearsons Hall is Cook Commons sophomore housing. Almost all rooms are doubles with an exception to one triple and two singles.  The dorm is situated close to Forest Hall and Battell is very close to Ross Dining Hall as well as McCardell BiCentennial Hall.  Check out the Pearsons Floor plans

 

Forest  West

Forrest Hall comprises two wings: East and West.  The west wing is home to approximately 58 Cook sophomores.  Rooms are set up as singles but share a sink room and a common entrance.  These rooms can be drawn as doubles or as singles.  The building was renovated in the summer of 2011.  Check out the Forest Floor plans.
