Hi! My name is Krystal. I was born in Los Alamos, NM and was raised in Albuquerque. Albuquerque is best known for it's hot green chile, a bell pepper like vegetable with the spice of a jalapeno, and the international balloon festival. One of my fondest memories is driving to school seeing the sky scattered with hot air balloons and smelling coco puffs from the near by cereal factory. The sky becomes a mosaic of color! I have two siblings, a three year old brother named Garry and a 7 month old sister named Madeline. As a first year I was partly sucked into and embraced a new sport, Crew! Being from New Mexico I am not used to water and a bit afraid of it, but regardless I now have another family on campus and am addicted to the sport. This past summer I decided to see what Vermont weather could be like and stayed to work on a farm. Learning the ropes with chickens and seeing just how dirty you can become without even noticing has been an adventure! I am excited to see what adventures the future holds!
