COVID-19 Updates: Fall Semester

Addison County Transit Resources (ACTR)

What is ACTR?

The Addison Country Transit Resources system primarily serves Addison County in western Vermont. The three in-county routes include the Middlebury Shuttle, the Tri-Town Shuttle, and the Snow Bowl Shuttle.

There are also three between-town commutors, making six routes total.

The ACTR was founded in 1992 with the goal of providing accessible and affordable transportation for everyone.

Why is it important to use public transportation?

Using public transportation helps reduce energy consumption and emissions of greenhouse gases and other harmful pollutants.

Additionally, using the ACTR supports it as a system and will help ensure that it continues to be funded.

What is the cost of riding?

It is free for Middlebury students to take the bus within the town of Middlebury and to the Snow Bowl.

It costs $1 to take the Tri-Town Shuttle to Bristol or Vergennes.

It costs $4 to take the bus to Burlington.
