Profile of <span>Joseph W. Brown ’90</span>

Joseph W. Brown ’90, P’18, ’23, ’27 spent 33 years in the aviation industry. He was a partner and COO of Tailwind Technologies, Inc., a holding company that owned a variety of aviation products manufacturers used in commercial, military, and civilian aircraft.

Brown is a past chairman of General Aviation Manufacturers Association and remains active in the aviation community as a pilot and member of several associations. He is a co-founder of The Yellow House Community, a Middlebury-based residential program for adults with special needs. 

Brown and his wife (both ‘90) are also Midd parents. They live in Cornwall, Vermont.
