CCI is thrilled to host one of Middebury College’s distinguished alumni, Shawn Ryan, class of 1988, and member of the Board of Trustees for a discussion on the future of Hollywood. An acclaimed TV writer and producer, Ryan brings a wealth of industry knowledge and insights to the table.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, from 4:30 PM to 5:45 PM in Dana Auditorium.

With an impressive career that includes hit shows like “The Shield,” “The Night Agent,” “S.W.A.T.,” and “Timeless,” Shawn Ryan has left an indelible mark on the entertainment world. As the industry continues to evolve, Ryan will share his thoughts on the recent Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) strikes and how these pivotal moments might shape the future of Hollywood.

The event is open to all students. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session with Shawn Ryan, making this a unique chance to gain industry knowledge and network with a Middlebury alumus.
