Built with student needs in mind, the Career Closet offers two easy ways to access professional clothing, whether you need a full outfit delivered to campus or something quick for tomorrow morning.
Two Ways to Use the Career Closet
1. Virtual Styling + Outfit Rentals (Delivered to Campus)
The centerpiece of the Career Closet is a virtual, on-demand styling experience that brings professional clothing directly to you.
Students can:
- Create an online account
- Schedule a virtual appointment with a professional stylist
- Choose complete outfits tailored to their needs, body type, and goals
- Receive the clothing delivered straight to campus, ready to wear
Whether you’re preparing for interviews, internships, networking events, or presentations, this option makes it easy to find clothing that fits both the moment and your personal style.

2. In-Person Career Closet at CCI
Prefer something in person? CCI also hosts a small, on-site Career Closet with a curated selection of professional outfits available to borrow.
Simply head to Handshake appointments and choose the “Professional Wardrobe Consultation” appointment option. It’s a simple option for last-minute needs or for students who want to try something on in person.

The Middlebury Career Closet is available to all Middlebury students, regardless of class year or career interest. Some services may have a cost depending on how much is rented, but financial aid–eligible students can access vouchers to make participation free.
