Andrew Cassel

Andrew Cassel joined the Projects for Peace team in 2026. He brings fifteen years’ experience as a higher education digital strategist, crisis communicator, and content creator.

Cassel speaks regularly about social media and digital communication including appearances on the Talking Tactics and The Higher Ed Marketer podcasts as well as conference sessions at the American Geophysical Union 2018, 2022, and 2023, and 2025 fall meetings and the 2017-2023 Higher Ed Web annual conference.

He is a five-time winner of Aurora Awards of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America - Alaska including the Grand Award of Excellence. He is now based in Vermont.
