Amber Jimerson, MSN, APRN, RN, FNP-BC

Amber Jimerson is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been in practice since 2011. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Bates College, and a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Nursing from the University of Rochester. Amber’s professional career began in urgent care and progressed to primary care medicine in various Vermont clinics prior to working at Middlebury College. Amber is one of the certified Forensic Nurse Examiners at Middlebury College and is able to offer support and examination related to sexual assaults.  

Amber balances her time at Middlebury College with her large joyous and zany family. She will tell you there is never a dull moment in her life from learning about new medical topics to exploring the great outdoors with her family. She has a passion for treating the whole person, focusing on evidence-based practice, and encouraging individual engagement in health decision making. Amber is always happy to share her relatable adventures of living in Vermont and enjoys connecting with students on topics of self-exploration and outdoor recreation. Amber is an enthusiastic Mad River Glen skier and loves to sail, paddleboard, explore rivers, hike, and bike– but don’t forget her expertise in stick forts and fairy house building. Amber looks forward to helping you succeed at Middlebury College and welcomes you to come to Parton Health Center for any of your health concerns.
