After earning her B.A. in English and Italian from Middlebury College in 2008, Heather returned to her alma mater in 2011 to help establish the Center for Social Entrepreneurship. She now serves as the Director of the Elizabeth Hackett Robinson ’84 Innovation Hub, where she mentors students through a diverse portfolio of creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial programs. In addition to her work with students, Heather collaborates closely with faculty on experiential Hub programs in Social Entrepreneurship and Global Health, Oratory, and the MiddCORE leadership & innovation program and works to connect departments to Vermont’s innovation ecosystem.

Heather holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont, where she focused on experiential learning. Heather is deeply engaged in her community; she helps with the Weybridge Energy Committee, contributes as a Community Advisory Team member for the Climate Economy Action Center of Addison County, and serves on the Boards of the Leahy ECHO Center for Lake Champlain and the EastRise Credit Union Foundation—organizations dedicated to advancing sustainability and improving the quality of life for all Vermonters. She enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her two sons.
