All your favorite musician friends are putting on a concert, Friday, May 13th, from 7:30-11:30, so bring your energy, your other friends, and don’t forget your dancing shoes! Middlebury is going Live and Loud, sending you into the last weekend of the semester.

    A solo classical guitar concert featuring Latin-American and original works, including Barrios, Anido, Reis, Villa-Lobos, Piazolla, and Peña.

    Stargazing at Mittelman Observatory

    Mittelman Observatory
    Mittelman Observatory will again host stargazing open house nights this spring. These Observatory events are scheduled for Friday evenings, April 22 and May 13, from 9:00 PM until 10:30 PM, weather permitting.

    A variety of interesting stars, star clusters, and nebulae will be visible through the Observatory’s telescopes. The Observatory includes a 24-inch telescope in a dome and smaller telescopes on the roof deck.

    Due to COVID-19 policies and best practices, not all telescopes will be open and masks will be required of attendees.

    WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE that beginning April 15, 2022 the museum will be open to all visitors, no reservations required. Hours for the spring are listed below. In accordance with current Middlebury College guidelines, masks are optional but encouraged.

    For those who are not able to visit us in person, we invite you to connect with art remotely by browsing our collections database, enjoying our virtual engagement page, reading our blog, and interacting with us @middartmuseum via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
