In the present-day real world, sixty-year-old Edward Bloom faces his mortality while Will prepares to become a father himself. In the storybook past, Edward ages from a teenager, encountering a Witch, a Giant, a Mermaid, and the love of his life, Sandra. The stories meet as Will discovers the secret his father never revealed.

  • Open Door Clinic 2022 Spring Interpreter Training

    Interested in medical interpretation? Join the ODC for in-person training to become a medical interpreter. The training will be on April 9th from 9:30 am to 11 am is for everyone and 11 am to 4:30 pm is for Spanish speakers interested in becoming medical interpreters. Food will be provided.   • BUILD: ASL with Dani Ohemeng

    BUILD is a student-run organization that provides language classes to the MIIS and the Monterey community. All of our classes are completely free, informal, and fun! They are taught by students of all programs at MIIS and members of the Monterey community with the support of students from the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Teaching Foreign Languages (TFL), and International Education Management (IEM) programs.
