  • Privilege & Poverty Pizza Making Social

    At the CCE, past interns, current scholars, and prospective scholars will gather at 26 Blinn Lane from 5-6 on Oct 22 to bake pizza together and talk about the Privilege & Poverty Academic Cluster. We are so excited to have everyone and reunite!! We will be talking about all the diverse ways to become involved at the CCE!

    Join us for Interfaith Shabbat! Services will begin at 5:30 PM on Friday, October 22nd at the FIC/Jewish Center and Shabbat dinner will be catered from Sabai Sabai starting at 6:30 PM.

    Evening large group is a time of exploration of how to pray, what it means to worship in community, as well as how to be comfortable with silence. Welcome to anyone who is searching, hungry, lost, or lonely! Its purpose is to be an oasis of sitting and praying for one another.

    This film chronicles four years in the life of Julie, a young woman who navigates the troubled waters of her love life and struggles to find her career path, leading her to take a realistic look at who she really is. In Norwegian with English subtitles. (2 hours 1 minute). Free. A Hirschfield International Film Series event.

  • ISO Fundraiser for Refugees & Immigrants

    Join the ISO Saturday night at McCullough tent for a fun and wholesome dinner from Global Home Cooking! Global Home Cooking is a startup by a Nepali immigrant entrepreneur in Burlington looking to provide incomes for home cooks in Burlington’s immigrant community and beyond. This event will be a fundraiser, and the funds that you give will be donated to the Cisarua Refugee Learning Center for in-transit refugees in Indonesia.
