An autobiographical musical based on the life of composer Jonathan Larson, Tick, Tick… Boom tells the story of an artist’s fight to enter the theater industry as he feels his time is running out. Explore the profound musings and iconic music of Larson’s first show. Senior work in vocal health/performance by Rohini Prabhakar ‘23. Independent work in directing by Kayla Schwartz ‘23.5. Emily Proctor Hosts Silent Retreat
Join us for a morning of silent togetherness, led by Professor Emliy Proctor, at the Scott Center. This retreat, which will be held in silence, will consist of a series of meditation sits interspersed with breaks for rest or walking meditation. This simple structure, carried out together, allows for a collective quieting of mind and body, from which can emerge a subtle but deep sense of community.

Pop-up! 3-D Books from Special Collections
Special Collections’ newest exhibit features 100 years of pop-up books from the fanciful to the functional, from science textbooks to fairy tales. The exhibit is installed in Davis Family Library on the Main Level.

Community Friends End of Year BBQ
Community Friends is holding an end-of-year BBQ celebration for all our mentors and mentees. We will be grilling food for everyone attending while having outdoor games, a dunk tank, a balloon artist, and a craft station. Our food station will include burgers and hotdogs with chips and fruit salad. A dessert table will have some cookies along with a snow cone machine station. Kickball, corn hole tournament, face painting, and flower pot decorating will all be available as activities for the kiddos and mentors to do together. Saturday Charter House Engagement Session
Charter House Coalition is a volunteer-based, community supported service organization that provides shelter, warm meals, and friendly faces to those in Middlebury who need assistance. The Student Organization is seeking students who are interested in community service that revolves around homelessness and food insecurity. We’ll be cooking, serving, and chatting with the residents. Every Saturday, we’ll have fun and be able to connect with the Middlebury community outside of the college.Off Campus
