    United for Ukraine 2024

    A Beneficiary Showcase of Ukrainian Resilience through Art

    This third annual event celebrates the culture and resilience of the nation of Ukraine with music, poetry, film, and more.  Featuring the New York Crimean Tatar Ensemble, with a parade of performances by the Middlebury College Choir, the student band Chapel Hill, Middlebury College’s Ukrainian students, and other special guests. Admission is free, and information about donating to Ukrainian relief organizations will be provided.

    Crossfit Middlebury hosts 1 hour workouts open to all students. Crossfit is “constantly varied, high-intensity functional movement” — a mix of gymnastics, weightlifing, and cardio.     Special Olympics will have our friends from the special olympics community to come out and play some recreational basketball to help them get ready for their upcoming season, and most importantly have fun! Anyone who wants to come play and cheer our athletes should come on out!

    Join the Hindu Student Association every Sunday night to participate in a Hindu prayer session and come together to discuss and understand Hinduism - open to everyone, not just Hindu students - bring friends!

    Sunday Night Environmental Group (SNEG) is a non-hierarchical student org committed to climate and social justice activism. In the past we have pushed the college to divest from fossil fuels, passed anti-fossil fuel infrastructure resolutions in town, trained students on methods of non-violent direct action, occupied the statehouse, organized climate strikes, and so much more. We strive to ground our work in anti-racism, indigenous sovereignty, and community power. All are welcome regardless of prior knowledge or experience.
