    AFC Next Steps Week: Financial Aid Processes

    The AFC, the Center for Careers and Internships, Student Financial Services, the Creating Connections Consortium (C3) via Dr. Miguel Fernandez, Dr. Marcos Rohena-Madrazo, and Dr. Clinton Cave have partnered to bring you a week full of insight on preparing for your next step. Whether that “next step” is a summer job, an internship, major career planning, mentorship and networking, your graduate school application, or just preparing for fall semester—they will share all the steps you need to take and information about the resources available to you!

    This interactive training with Dr. Meagan Corrado, Founder of Storiez Trauma Narratives, provides foundational information about trauma including trauma types, trauma prevalence rates, and the consequences of trauma exposure. It explores pathways to trauma healing and highlights the importance of post-traumatic growth, neuroplasticity, resilience, and reparative experiences.

    Faculty and staff are invited to this weekly sitting meditation group, hosted by Prof. Emily Proctor in conjunction with the Scott Center for Spiritual & Religious Life.  No experience is necessary, and cushions and chairs provided.  Held each Tuesday, 12:05-12:45 EST.
