Laurie Patton is the author or editor of nine books and more than 50 articles on religion, mythology, South Asian culture, and literature. She has translated The Bhagavad Gita and published two books of poetry, illuminating ancient wisdom with a modern sensibility. Described as a “poetic scholar,” acclaimed for her elegant translation, and known for making erudite subjects accessible, this promises to be a fascinating conversation.
