The Battle Over Money: Our Global Debt Crisis & What We Can Do About It
Global private and public debt now exceeds $200 trillion, a situation one bank report characterizes as “credit exhaustion.” Why does this threaten our environment, our social lives, our freedoms and our financial future? And what can you do about it? This talk will review the history of money creation, how it has led to the need for perpetual exponential economic growth, and how this despoils the environment and produces ever larger gaps between rich and poor.
