Beyond the Ballot: Civic Engagement After Elections

Erin Chouinard, Class of ‘24, will share CitizenShift, a civic technology project that anyone can use to stay politically engaged and make a difference year-round. CitizenShift is a civic tech nonprofit whose mission is to increase civic engagement by making legislation more accessible, actionable, and understandable. CitizenShift summarizes legislation and packages it into a social media like format where users can directly reach out to their representatives on relevant issues and connect with their communities to share and advocate on legislation.
