Managing Financials in Green Energy and Renewables:  A Career Conversation with Duncan Cooper ‘06

Come and learn about the intersection of financial planning and analysis and the world of renewables, and the pathway of one alumni there.  An Economics major at Middlebury, Duncan has worked in renewable energy systems, waste diversion and power generation, and now in large scale green energy production.   He also graduated from the Johnson School of Business at Cornell University with an MBA in 2013.   Duncan is currently Manager of Budgeting and Reporting at Enel Green Power North America (EGPNA), as part of the Planning and Control team.  Duncan’s work involves summarizing and reporting on the financial performance of the company, and working with Accounting, Operations, and Business Development divisions to create models that forecast financial outcomes for the company.     Bring your questions.  Part of the two day event:  Beyond Wall Street:  A Field Guide for Economics Majors.  More information at go/fieldguide.  Lunch is provided.
