A Conversation with Elena Kostyuchenko

The Monterey Initiative in Russian Studies presents Russian investigative journalist and special correspondent for the Novaya Gazeta newspaper, Elena Kostyuchenko, who will speak in Russian to MIIS students, staff and faculty about her professional experience on Tuesday, April 3. Ms. Kostyuchenko has reported in the Donbass region of Ukraine, in Norilsk, Russia, and many other locations across Russia and the region. Kostyuchenko will provide insights on war and environmental justice and respond to students’ questions.
