The Cynthia Baren Band

A singer/songwriter hailing from Burlington, Vermont whose soft crooning vocals and forward lyrics have been described as jazz-infused folk. Braren has been compared to a wide range of greats including: Mazzy Star, Joni Mitchell and Rufus Wainwright. Her live shows showcase a blend of originals and specific covers. You can hear her singing everything from Adele to the Weepies on Church Street late into the Vermont summer nights. Braren is currently working on her first recorded effort at The Green Room Studios with Vermont producer Colin Mccaffrey at the wheel.
