The Center for Education offers cutting-edge, one-year graduate programs to produce a new kind of health care leader, grounded in the skills to measure, organize and improve health and health care. Placing MPH, MS and PhD graduates in positions, including clinical practice, health administration, business, health policy, scientific and health services research, where they bring a fresh understanding of the complexities of American health care and the innovation and dedication to achieve real reform.

MPH:

Dartmouth offers a 1 year full-time non-traditional Master of Public Health program that provides a uniquely comprehensive introduction to the U.S. health care systems and its impact on population health. This 56 credit program offers a generalist curriculum using an evidence-based approach focused on health outcomes and methods of analysis common to public health, MPH students gain an understanding of the medical care and public health systems.

MS:

The Master of Science program trains its students to be leaders and researchers in health services delivery and quality improvement. This distinctive degree program graduates students with the capacity to research and implement initiatives that will advance a patient-centered, high quality, cost-effective health care system with access and excellence for all. The 56-credit MS degree can be completed full-time in one year or part-time over two to three years.
