This presentation will explore careers in international development with advice for anyone hoping to find that elusive chance to make a difference. Liz Wilson is a qualified social worker from the UK with extensive experience in project management and child protection. She has been the CEO of SKIP for the past 7 years. SKIP (Supporting Kids in Peru) is a US registered non profit working in the impoverished community of El Porvenir in Northern Peru. We provide education, social work support, parental and business training for families and micro finance. We are breaking the cycle of poverty with 14% of our families leaving poverty in the past four years.
