Faculty Mentor Lunch : Life After Tenure

The CTLR welcomes all faculty to enjoy lunch together and to engage with new and veteran colleagues in a discussion about what life looks like after tenure. Come for tasty food, camaraderie, and lively conversation about the post-tenure world at Middlebury. On the one hand, a major professional milestone has passed; on the other hand, committee work, chairing of departments, and a new level of professional commitments typically begins in earnest at this point. The intent is for newly tenured faculty, those who see review on the horizon, and those who have thoughts on the experience of the transition to Associate Professor to share advice, concerns, and questions with others.
