Virtual Middlebury

Open to the Public

LASTESIS, the Chilean feminist performance collective, shows today how popular art can entertain and help transform minds and lives. As part of the Juana Gamero de Coca Day of Learning on Global Gender and Cultures, LASTESIS will present and discuss some of its performances in the context of the 21st century global feminist movement. LASTESIS will share videos of the performances in Chile and the spontaneous global movement they have spearheaded. During this event, recipients of the Juana Gamero de Coca Writing Award will read from their winning pieces to be published in the Middlebury Journal of Global Affairs.
