By María Irene Fornés, directed and translated by Olga Sanchez Saltveit

Join the The Dogteam Theatre Project for an Open Rehearsal of this world premiere production before it travels to NYC!

María Irene Fornés’ first play, written in her iconic avant-garde, queer, feminist voice, is drawn from letters to her great-grandfather from his cousin who fled to Spain as Cuba launched its battles for Independence. Fighting to maintain her dignity and her property amid the disruption caused by American intervention following the Spanish American War, Angela must also battle with her memories…

Presented by The Dogteam Theatre Project, which engages established professional theatre makers with Middlebury College students in Vermont and New York City in a unique training/producing model. A Hundred Circling Camps and La Viuda will be presented at the Atlantic Theatre Stage 2 in July and early August! For more information & tickets in NYC please visit: www.dogteam.org
