Application “Geography”: Beyond The Horizon Of The Personal Statement.
While you may be stressing and struggling with the writing and editing of a law school personal statement, your application “journey” often includes mastering a range of written submissions. In this session, two admissions deans will take you on a “trip” exploring the challenges (and opportunities) in crafting:
* Diversity Statements
* Character/ Fitness Disclosures
* “Why ‘X’ Law School?” Questions
* Academic/Testing Addenda
This session will get you to start thinking about how each of these submissions provides you an opportunity to strengthen your application, even when you might be explaining a weakness! In this interactive and relaxed discussion format , we will share some examples of application submissions that, while not always coming in for a perfect landing , still provide lessons on effective ways to navigate sometimes difficult waters.
