EIA’s Professional-in-Residence Lisa Leopold is Assistant Professor of English for Academic and Professional Purposes at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, where she teaches courses in Business Correspondence, Public Speaking, Editing, Oral Communication, and Academic and Policy Writing to international graduate students. She loves helping students to realize their professional dreams. Students have rated Professor Leopold’s courses very highly, and have told her she is a “first class reviewer.” Professor Leopold brings a wealth of experience to help meet the professional needs of Middlebury’s highly-talented international student body. Prior to teaching at the Monterey Institute, Professor Leopold taught English as a Second Language to immigrants, refugees, community college and university students in the U.S., as well as children in Ecuador.

Join us and meet Professor Leopold from 2 – 3:15 p.m. on October 20th at the Center For Education In Action Library.
