Movement Matters Junior Cius

Junior Cius is a dancer/choreographer residing in Boston, MA. He started training professionally with his first dance crew, Picture In Concrete (PIC) in 2013. In 2015, he established his own dance company “Crewenex”, dedicated to teaching students in Boston. A year later, he was selected to learn and perform works taught by some of the pop and hip-hop industries’ most successful choreographers, in the Monsters of Hip Hop dance show. Since then, Junior has traveled with these choreographers, assisting them in training other aspiring dancers. Cius then debuted his first international teaching tour, at the end of 2019, traveling throughout Europe. Junior Cius is a recipient of the Next Steps for Boston Dance grant, through which he plans to create projects that speaks to his community. He believes that the purpose of his art is to instill peace, cause understanding, demonstrate love, and to uplift and empower his community.
