My Beautiful Black Hair: Lecture and Book Signing

Please join us for a talk and book signing with Award-winning filmmaker, photographer, author, and activist St. Clair Detrick-Jules. St. Clair captures personal stories and intimate moments centering Black liberation, immigrant justice, and women’s rights. Her debut book, My Beautiful Black Hair: 101 Natural Hair Stories from the Sisterhood showcases the photographs and stories of Black women embracing their crowns. St. Clair will be here as a key highlight of the Anderson Freeman Center’s Black History Month festivities.
