Tagged as “punk-folk”, “ecological”, and even “metaphysical” in Europe where they work, live and play, the geographically improbable duo of Dave (originally from Richford, Vermont) and Denis (from the backcountry of northern France), explode on stage into an organic splattering of musical genres, with tightly crafted songs ranging in style from earthy blues to celestial gospel to raging psychobilly. Unsurprisingly, all songs are anchored in anarcho-primitivism, with lyrics tapping incisively into the works of Derrick Jensen, Richard Manning, Terry Tempest Williams, etc.
