Public Lecture by Michael Metz, Generator Makerspace in Burlington

Michael, a founder of Generator and alum of Middlebury (‘75), will be presenting an overview of the Generator Makerspace in Burlington as it celebrates its 10th anniversary. He will focus on the role of Generator as catalyst for the creative economy and the important function it serves supporting artists, engineers, hobbyists, early-stage startups, educators, students, communities, and creatives from all walks of life. Michael will discuss how Generator engaged with its community, the priority given by its board of directors to community building and economic development and will conclude with time for questions and discussion.
