Research As Action

Research as Action is a community-activated, dance-based research installation conceived by Artist in Residence Meshi Chavez. This event includes multiple formations of artistic processes, audience participation, and live music created by Lisa DeGrace and Debora Felmeth. Research as Action investigates the questions: How is the worth of dance determined when it is enmeshed in the very fabric of the lives of those living it? Is it possible to make tangible these unseen moments? This event can only accommodate 25 people. 5 people will participate at a time. There will be several start times. 7:30, 7:45, 8:00, 8:15, & 8:30. This event is somewhat self-led and takes place mostly in the dark.
