Class of 1974 (50th) Reflections on Sustainability: A Tour through Middlebury’s Past, Present, and Future

A lot has changed on the campus since 1974! Join Jack Byrne, dean of sustainability and environmental affairs, and Mike Moser, director of facilities, for a “sustainability in action” walking tour of the campus, featuring campus projects that have helped Middlebury meet its Energy2028 and carbon neutrality goals. The tour will include examples of how College is using local, renewable sources and reducing energy usage, the role of land conservation, and what lies ahead. The tour will also reveal some of the invisible campus infrastructure that plays a significant role in these efforts.
