A bilingual poetry reading/presentation (in Spanish and English) by young Uruguayan poet and academic Laura Cesarco Eglin, an up-and-coming Latin American writer living in the United States (http://laucesarco.blogspot.com/). Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Laura Cesarco has published three poetry books (Llamar al agua por su nombre in Mouthfeel Press, 2010; Sastrería in Yaugurú, 2011; and Los brazos del saguaro in Yaugurú, 2015), as well as Tailor Shop: Threads, a chapbook with 23 poems from Sastrería co-translated into English with Teresa Williams (Finishing Line Press, 2013). Laura Cesarco Eglin has seen her poems published in numerous magazines and journals from Uruguay, México, the United Kingdom, Spain, and the United States.
