UpNext: Careers in Consulting - Plenary Session
Consultants are problem solvers, innovators, teachers, lawyers, advisors, designers, artists. Consultants practice these talents and skills in a wide array of disciplines and sectors, including: business, government, NGOs, international development, social sector, education, legal, the environment, and the list goes on. When it comes to consulting, there is a broad variety of ways to pursue your interests and find outlets for your abilities; very much aligned with a liberal arts education. What are the different types of consulting, what do people working in these areas actually do, and which type might be right for you? Hear from a panel of Middlebury alumni with a variety of backgrounds who now have careers across a wide spectrum within the consulting industry. Then stay for a social event to get to know these professionals and ask questions over light snacks and beverages.
