This teach-in is for new febs, first year students, and other young students interested in learning about the events preceding, during, and following Charles Murray’s visit to Middlebury’s campus in 2017. Several students will present on the timeline, reflect on their own experiences, and accept questions. There will be opportunities for future involvement concerning Murray’s coming visit. Bring your dinner from the dining hall and we will provide dessert!

In this half-day gathering, organizers and attendees of the recent Vision for Vermont Summit at Bread Loaf will discuss next steps for building a sustainable, inclusive economy.

Accelerator - Summer Business Immersion is designed to help undergrads learn business by doing business. In four weeks, students receive fundamental coursework and apply that knowledge to four consulting projects for real companies. The talk will be given by Brian Burke, Midd ’97, who majored in Chinese at Middlebury and is currently a partner at Shearman & Sterling, an international law firm.
