Interviewing for Language Education Jobs

Are you currently looking for a job in the field of language teaching and learning? Will an interview be required as part of the application process? If so, come hear Patricia Szasz (Assistant Dean, Language and Professional Programs) and Jason Martel (Assistant Professor, TESOL/TFL and Associate Director, Summer Intensive Language Program) discuss strategies for effective interviewing. Sample interview questions will be shared, and students will have the opportunity to practice giving answers with immediate feedback.

The International Student Committee from the Student Council (ISC) serves as a platform for international students to discuss concerns, find support, address shared issues and advocate for potential solutions. In our last 2017 Spring meeting we will discuss “International Students and the Reception Week” in preparation to the Fall Orientation Week. We will also talk about the updates on previous discussions about CACS, as well as ISC activities in general. All students are welcome and refreshments will be provided!
