The event will feature a series of students-led performances , interactive cultural activities, and short presentations that showcase Chinese language, music, and traditions. The goal of this event is to celebrate the end of the semester, promote intercultural understanding and provide the MIIS community with an immersive experience of Chinese culture!

In this talk, Francis Troyan from The Ohio State University will provide an overview of the Integrated Performance Assessment (IPA) within the broader work on performance and proficiency-oriented instruction, along with updates based on the 20 years initiatives and research on IPA in the field. He will then explore and discuss examples of programmatic implementations of IPA from a range of instructional contexts, and discuss possibilities for implementation.
