Please join Middlebury alumni and current Bank of America Merrill Lynch employees on Monday, March 6th for a Women in Finance Networking Event.

The evening will offer students the opportunity to get to know women from Bank of America and to discuss women’s changing role within the industry, as well as gain to insight into the recruiting process. The event will feature a panel, offering a number of female perspectives from different areas within the bank, and give students the chance to ask questions both about recruiting and about the job itself.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch will be hosting an Information Session on October 13 from 8:15-9:15pm. The target audience for this session is juniors, however, all students are welcome to attend. Apogee Adventures offers hiking, biking, community service, language, writing, and photography trips for teenagers 11-18. Apogee is looking for responsible, dynamic, and motivated leaders to lead trips in New England, Montana, Oregon, California, Canada, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and throughout Europe. Trip leader pairs (always one male, one female) are responsible for the safety and well-being of up to 12 students in outdoor adventure travel settings. Leaders must serve as excellent role models as they foster teamwork and a healthy, nurturing group dynamic.

Ambassador Richard LeBaron is a diplomat with over thirty years of experience abroad and in Washington. Bring your questions and hear about all his experiences. He is giving a talk Thursday afternoon about where foreign policy will go after the election this fall. The ambassador’s most recent overseas posting was as deputy chief of mission at the US embassy in London from August 2007 to August 2010. He served as ahargé d’affaires in London from February to August 2009. Previous to his assignment to London, he served as the US ambassador to Kuwait (2004 to 2007).

Doug Gledhill ‘14 will talk about his experience in Amazon.com’s Operations Finance Rotational Program (OFRP). OFPR is an intensive entry-level program spanning 3 assignments in different Amazon fulfillment centers (FCs) in preparation for large leadership roles in finance. The program combines coursework and challenging job assignments to equip you with exceptional technical, financial, and business skills.
